Week of May 27, 2024

We are nearing the end of our ECC year. As I have mentioned in previous emails and detailed in below, our most preschool classrooms end June 6th. While this may seem early and may also be an inconvenience, this is important for a few reasons. We must pack up our classrooms and have them moved Oak Ridge for our ECC Summer Care (more details will be shared soon for families registered for Summer Care.) We will also use this time for professional development for our staff. It is a rare occasion to have all of our staff available. June is a wonderful time to get some critical training in before summer!

Please remember to complete your registration paperwork, or enrollment for next year. If you are returning to the ECC we will need an updated health appraisal (green physical form) as well as the required licensing paperwork. Our office will be reaching out if we are missing anything. We will also contact you regarding any immunizations that your child may be due for. If you are choosing not to complete certain (or any) immunizations, you must contact the local health department and complete have a waiver meeting. The longer you wait, the harder it is to schedule later in the summer.

Thursday ThemeDress Your Best!

Upcoming Dates:

June 6 -- Last day of school for most classes (NOT White Dogs & Macaroni Penguins!)

June 12 -- Last day of school for White Dog & Macaroni Penguin Classrooms

Thank you,

Mrs. Truesdell
