Early Childhood Summer Care

Summer care for 2024 is full. Please keep an eye out for the lottery in March 2025 to join us next summer!

Sessions run Monday- Friday. Half day hours are 7:30am-12:30pm. Full day begins at 7:30am-5:30pm* 

  • Session 1: June 17-28
  • Session 2: July 1-12 (CLOSED July 4 & 5)
  • Session 3: July 15- 36
  • Session 4: July 29- August 9

 

Drop off and Pick up

Summer Care is taking place at Oak Ridge Elementary (506 E 13 Mile road) this year as Addams is under construction. Drop off and pick up will take place right at the classroom doors this year; Rooms 101 & 102 (door 15 & 16) circled in YELLOW below. You will enter from Rochester Road, near the firehouse and park in the lot. Drop off begins at 7:30am and pick up ends at 5:30pm.
*Please note that this is a 40 hour a week program. If your child attends more than that or is picked up after 5:30pm, additional fees may be charged.

What to bring:

  • Please send your child in weather appropriate clothing and shoes. Closed toe shoes are preferred for safety! 
  • All items should be labeled with your child's name
  • Sunscreen should be applied in the morning before drop off. Please also bring sunscreen to keep in the room for reapplication. 
  • Please bring a lunch and a water bottle daily as well as a morning and afternoon snack. Please keep in mind that Oak Ridge is a nut free school. 
  • If your child is attending full day, please bring rest items; a small blanket and pillow, which will be sent home at the end of the week to be washed.
  • Water day (Day TBD) will require a swimsuit and towel.
